Tribus P. Films
Tribus P. Films is an international film & TV show production company based in Paris and Bangkok, founded by producer Paul-Dominique Vacharasinthu in 2011. In less than ten years, Tribus P. Driven by a will to develop new points of view and to share powerful, moving, and deeply human works, Tribus P. Films accompanies up-and-coming directors and their visions as they come to feature films. Tribus P. Films produced American actor John Turturro’s THE JESUS ROLLS (2018), Romain Gavras’s THE WORLD IS YOURS (2018), Antoine de Bary’s MY DAYS OF GLORY (2019) and Mounia Meddour’s PAPICHA (2019), which won many international awards, including the César Awards for Best First Feature Film and Most Promising Actress.
In 2021, Tribus P. Films persevered in its approach of combining emotional depth, humanity, and entertainment, through a diverse collection of works, for example Brazilian director Alexandre Carvalho’s LA SALAMANDRE and Marc Dugain’s EUGÉNIE GRANDET. Tribus P. Films has also been producing ANNETTE, filmmaker Leos Carax’s much-anticipated sixth feature film, starring Adam Driver and Marion Cotillard, with a soundtrack by Sparks. ANNETTE, which world premiered on opening night at the Cannes Film Festival 2021, has been awarded for Best Director & Best Soundtrack, and garnered five awards at the 47th César Awards, including Best Director & Original Score.
Moving forward on exciting TV shows and documentaries, Tribus P. Films is taking a new turn in its development with THE CORSICANS, its ambitious TV series project tackling the myth of Napoleon with the same quality, image and depth as for its feature films.
